Getting started
Discuss a projectWhat does Mintby do?
Mintby provides strategic advisory, digital engineering, marketing strategy and creative design. Projects can include market-entry planning, licensing programmes, partner frameworks, business systems, campaign materials and website design.
Which Mintby service should I start with?
Choose Strategic Advisory for market entry, licensing, partner relationships or brand governance. Choose Technology for websites, systems and workflows, or Creative & Marketing for audience planning, messaging and design. If the need crosses several areas, describe the main problem first.
Can I discuss just one part of a project?
Yes. You can request a single piece of work, such as a partner onboarding plan, website design or campaign assets. Tell us what your team or other suppliers already handle so the boundaries and handover points can be defined.
What should I prepare before getting in touch?
Prepare a short business introduction, the problem you want to address and the outcome you have in mind. Share relevant links or materials you already have. Target dates, budget considerations and the people involved also help us understand the project.
How are project costs and timelines decided?
An estimate depends on the work involved, the starting materials, technical dependencies and review requirements. We need to establish the deliverables and responsibilities first. Changes to those requirements can affect both cost and timing.
Why connect advisory, technology, creative and marketing?
The services often meet at handover points: a market plan informs a campaign, a brand identity informs a website, or a partner programme informs an onboarding system. Considering those dependencies helps each part use the decisions and materials developed by the others.
What kinds of business challenges are a useful fit?
The starting point should be a business decision, operational task or communication need that can be defined and worked on. Share the problem and any constraints; the first discussion establishes whether the work fits our service areas and what further information is needed.
How can our team contribute?
Your team supplies business knowledge, relevant materials and access to the people making decisions. A main point of contact can coordinate those inputs, gather feedback and confirm approvals at each review stage.
Do we need to know the solution before speaking to Mintby?
No. Describe what happens today, where the difficulty lies and who is affected. Examples of a missed handoff, a confusing customer journey or an unresolved commercial choice can be more useful than a proposed solution.
What is the best way to contact Mintby?
Email info@mintby.com for a direct conversation. If you prefer a prompt for the details to include, use the Contact page to prepare your enquiry. Both options use your email app.
How do I send my enquiry?
Complete the required fields and select “Send enquiry”. Your email app opens with the details addressed to info@mintby.com. Review the draft and send it from there. The form does not send automatically; the direct email option is available if the draft does not open.
Can I include files or a reference website?
Include reference website links in your message. Attach a brief, brand materials or other supporting files in your email app before sending. The form prepares an email draft and does not upload attachments itself.
What if I do not have a budget or deadline yet?
Say which details are undecided and what you want to achieve. If there is a fixed launch date, internal milestone or spending limit, include it. Those constraints help distinguish essential work from items that could follow later.
Strategic advisory
Explore Strategic AdvisoryWhat does strategic advisory cover at Mintby?
Four areas: market entry and growth strategy, brand licensing, partnership development and brand governance. They address different decisions: where to compete, how to structure a licensing programme, how partners work together and how the brand is applied.
Do we need to use all four advisory services?
No. An engagement can focus on one stage or question. For example, partner onboarding can be addressed without a market-entry project. Where another service is relevant, its role and deliverables are defined separately.
How does advisory connect with Technology and Creative & Marketing?
An advisory outcome can become an implementation requirement: a launch roadmap may need campaign assets, or partner onboarding may need a digital workflow. Technology and Creative & Marketing can develop those requirements through their own project scopes.
What will we receive from an advisory engagement?
The service determines the outputs: market assessment and launch planning, a licensing programme brief, partner evaluation and onboarding documents, or brand standards and approval workflows. The proposal identifies the documents to be produced and the inputs needed from your team.
Can we bring an existing plan or partnership?
Yes. Existing research, plans, programme documents and partner arrangements can form the starting point. Share what has already been decided, the evidence behind it and the parts that need further attention.
Market Entry & Growth Strategy
Explore this serviceIs this only for entering another country?
No. The opportunity could be a new customer segment, product offer or sales channel within a market you already serve. The assessment focuses on the audience, commercial fit and requirements of that opportunity.
What information should we bring?
Bring details of the current offer, candidate markets or audiences, existing research and relevant performance data. Include operating constraints and available resources. This helps identify which comparisons can be made and where evidence is missing.
Does every project include primary market research?
No. Reviewing existing evidence is different from conducting interviews, surveys or commissioned local research. Research needs, responsibilities and any additional work are defined before the assessment proceeds.
How does market-entry strategy connect to marketing?
Market-entry work establishes the opportunity, proposition, route to market and launch requirements. Marketing strategy then develops audience messaging, channel priorities and campaign planning around those choices. The two services have related but distinct outputs.
Brand Licensing Advisory
Explore this serviceWhat does brand licensing advisory cover?
It covers the commercial and operational planning of a licensing programme: objectives, intended territory or category, operator criteria, reporting and brand-use expectations. Those requirements form the basis for discussions with prospective operators and specialist advisers.
Can you help compare exclusive and non-exclusive models?
Yes, where programme planning includes that question. The comparison can consider market coverage, partner incentives and operating capacity. The legal suitability of a model and the wording of any agreement require specialist review.
Does this service include trademark registration or legal drafting?
No. Trademark registration, rights verification and contract drafting are separate specialist services. Mintby organises the commercial programme requirements and questions for the appointed advisers; their legal review and documentation remain separate.
What should we prepare for an initial discussion?
Share a summary of the brand, the rights and permissions already identified, the intended territory or category and any operator proposal. Note the proposed responsibilities and which commercial questions remain unresolved.
Partnership Development
Explore this serviceCan you work with partners we already have?
Yes. The focus can be an existing relationship or network. Share how partners currently join, receive information, coordinate work and raise issues. That helps identify whether the priority is onboarding, responsibilities, communication or review.
Does partnership development include finding partners?
Partner research or outreach is not automatically included. The core work defines partner requirements, assesses available information and prepares the relationship to operate. Any sourcing or contact activity would need its own explicit scope.
What kinds of partnerships can be considered?
Examples include operators, distributors, referral relationships and specialist delivery partners. Evaluation criteria depend on what the partner contributes, the operating model and the market involved.
Can partner materials and systems be included?
Yes, as separately defined creative or technical work. A partner information pack, onboarding content or coordination workflow can be developed around the responsibilities and steps established in the partnership plan.
Brand Governance
Explore this serviceHow is brand governance different from brand design?
Brand design establishes identity, messaging and visual assets. Governance defines who uses them, what can be adapted, which changes need approval and how guidance is maintained. Governance can build on an existing identity without redesigning it.
Can you use our current brandbook?
Yes. Share the current brandbook and examples of materials in use. The work can address gaps in everyday application, approval responsibilities and guidance for teams or partners while retaining the established identity.
Does this include legal IP protection?
No. Governance covers brand-use standards and the process for recording concerns. Trademark advice, rights verification, disputes and enforcement belong with the relevant legal specialists.
Do you monitor every use of our brand?
No continuous or worldwide monitoring is implied. Any review activity needs specified channels, materials, frequency and responsibilities. The scope should identify what will be checked and who handles the findings.
Technology
Explore TechnologyWhat is digital engineering?
Digital engineering turns requirements into a working website, interface or business system. It includes defining user tasks, implementing the required behaviour and checking how the experience works across the relevant devices and system connections.
How do I know whether I need a website or a business system?
A website primarily serves visitors looking for information or taking an action. A business system supports an operational task or workflow. Some projects need both; describing the users and their tasks helps establish the appropriate scope.
Can an existing website or system be part of the brief?
Yes. Share the existing website or system, the changes you need and any access or supplier restrictions. A review of its capabilities and dependencies informs whether it can be extended, connected or needs replacement.
Can different tools be connected?
Potential connections depend on the tools, their available interfaces, permissions and data requirements. Include the system names and the information you want to transfer. Compatibility and access need to be assessed before an integration can be confirmed.
How is design considered in a technology project?
Content hierarchy, navigation and interaction states inform the technical requirements. When visual design is needed, layouts and components can be developed alongside the implementation plan. See our creative approach for the design services available.
What happens after the first release?
Release planning identifies who owns hosting, access, documentation and ongoing work. Maintenance, support or further releases are separate commitments that need to be specified; they are not automatically included with the initial build.
Creative & marketing
Explore Creative & MarketingWhat does marketing strategy include?
It can include audience priorities, positioning, key messages, channel roles, campaign planning and measurement priorities. The output is a plan for where marketing activity should focus and what the creative work needs to communicate.
Can we start with marketing strategy and add creative work later?
Yes. A marketing plan or messaging framework can be a standalone deliverable. Campaign concepts, brand materials or digital design can follow when you are ready, with the next stage defined around the approved priorities.
Does campaign creative include running paid advertising?
Not automatically. Campaign creative covers concepts and assets. Media buying, advertising account setup, optimisation and reporting are separate activities; responsibilities and media budgets must be specified if they are part of the project.
Can the design use our existing brand?
Yes. Provide the logo files, guidelines, fonts and examples of current materials. Identify what must remain fixed and where development is possible. That allows new work to follow the existing identity.
Does a design brief have to include development?
No. You can commission concepts, page layouts, components or handover materials for your own development team. Implementation is included only when it forms part of the project scope.
How are mobile layouts considered?
Design considers content order, navigation, typography and actions across screen sizes. The deliverables define the required desktop and mobile layouts and interaction states, so implementation has a reference for responsive behaviour.
How will feedback and revisions work?
Review stages and revision rounds are defined before production. A main decision-maker should gather feedback from your team into one set of comments, assessed against the project objectives and the stage being reviewed.
What files will we receive?
Depending on the project, files may include a marketing plan, messaging document, campaign artwork, visual references or digital layouts. The handover specification identifies editable formats, exports and any implementation or usage guidance included.
